SmoothPay makes KiwiSaver simple (and it took a LOT of work to make it that way)
1. We made enrolment just one click.
2. We know how time flies, so we made un-enrolment one click too - even if you forgot to do it when you should have, SmoothPay provides options for you to refund your employee yourself, or to have the IRD do it for you.
3. SmoothPay automatically creates KS1 lodgement files for irFile transfer to IRD so that you don't need to fill in any forms.
4. SmoothPay is the ONLY payroll provider in New Zealand that provides for KiwiSaver top-ups (which amounts to free money for your employee's KiwiSaver fund - at NO COST to you, the employer)!
NOTE: Top-ups are no longer available after 1 April 2009, however we have developed a "top-up reclaim" facility that ensures your employees receive the full benefit of the $20/week/employee subsidy for the 2008/9 tax year (available until 31 March 2014).
SmoothPay has assisted in the recovery of nearly $2 million for hard working KiwiSavers - there's approximately $700 million still available to be claimed.
